RIVER - Housekeeper (Supervisor)

Role Overview
Part of our Housekeeping team on our River vessels, the Housekeeper provides guests at all times with friendly, personalized housekeeping service. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining high standards and consistency of cleanliness of the guest staterooms and all public areas while providing our guests an outstanding customer service. The Housekeeper reports to Hotel Manager and Corporate Housekeeper.
What You Will Do On Board
- Oversee the entire housekeeping operation onboard
- Monitor and ensure cleanliness of all areas, including staterooms and public areas
- Manage and motivate housekeeping crew, including training and performance reviews
- Responsible for cost control and adherence to budgets, including ordering and inventory management
- Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing complaints and providing assistance when needed
- Assist with guest services and effectively deal with customers, including defusing anger and resolving conflicts.

- High School Diploma required, with a Hospitality degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position in an upscale cruise line or hotel
- Excellent English communication skills, service-oriented and guest focused with attention to detail
- Discreet, well-groomed, and maintains impeccable hygiene standards
- Flexible, stress-resistant, team player, committed and able to stand on feet for a long time.
