Safety Lead - Direct Hire in Richmond, VA

Starting pay rate depends on experience level 60-65K - Salary can go hire based on experience

Mon-Fri 7am-4pm

Manpower has partner with the industry leader in the construction industry in hiring a Safety Lead. This individual will work closely with project managers, supervisors, and workers to enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site.

Main Responsibilities include:

Conduct daily safety inspections of construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Must be ok with traveling within a 1-3 hour radius to construction sites.

Provide guidance and support to site personnel on safety procedures, equipment usage, and best practices.

Enforce company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Conduct safety training sessions for new hires and existing employees, covering topics such as fall protection, electrical safety, and hazardous materials handling.

Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement site-specific safety plans and risk assessments.

Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.

Serve as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns from site personnel.
