Sales Director

Reporting to the CEO, a global home textile company is seeking a results focused Sales Director to maximize and drive sales and develop relationships with key retail accounts; open new accounts as directed.

Responsibilities

• Establishes annual sales goals by account.
• Ensure that the sales plans and strategy are properly and successfully implemented.
• Identify white space opportunities for new customers and categories.
• Working with the customer to focus on both in-store & .com opportunities that will enhance customer’ product portfolio and multi-channel strategies.
• Develop, build and maintain client relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identifies potential business opportunities with new accounts.
• Partner with Planning to monitor projections and inventory levels.
• Communicate with Product Development and Design on product and design assortments and innovation.
• Prepare tailored customer trend presentations.
• Serves as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years' of sales account experience
• Prior relationships with key brick and mortar retailers required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Home textile experience a ++

This position is an on-site hybrid position 4 days a week in NJ or NY -- with a 1 day work from home.
