Sales Director - Food Packaging

Position Overview: My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director ideally based in the Southeast to lead sales efforts. The perfect candidate will have a strong background in the food service packaging industry, a proven track record of driving sales growth, and exceptional leadership skills. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in the Southeast US.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to drive performance and exceed sales goals.
• Identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously improve sales strategies and product offerings.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in the food service packaging industry,
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel 50%.
