Overview: The Sales & Marketing Manager is a dynamic role responsible for driving revenue growth through innovative sales and marketing strategies. This role combines hands-on direct sales activities with overseeing marketing campaigns. The manager will coordinate and implement sales plans, manage digital marketing efforts, create content, build customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our company by effectively combining innovative marketing strategies with proactive sales efforts. 


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Assist with developing and executing sales and marketing plans/campaigns. 
  • Prepare sales proposals and negotiate contracts across a diverse range of complex service offerings.  
  • Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. 
  • Create marketing materials, manage digital marketing campaigns, and oversee promotional activities. 
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies. 
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. 
  • Prospect and generate leads, conduct presentations and demos 
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to expand client base. 
  • Collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure client needs are met. 
  • Report on sales performance and marketing campaign results to senior management. 


Qualifications: 


  • Proven experience in sales and marketing management, preferably in the IT or technology sector. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed strategic decisions. 
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools. 
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, customer service, project management, and problem-solving skills. 

 

Key Sales & Marketing Manager KPIs 

  • Sales Cycle Length: The average amount of time from the first contact with a potential client to closing the deal.  
  • Lead Conversion Rate: The percentage of leads that convert into customers. 
  • Leads generated: The number (count) and dollar amount of potential client business opportunities.
