Role Description
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate SAT English tutor to join our team and support our growing client base. The ideal candidate is willing to take on new students from day one and will also help build out materials for other tutors who join the team.
Responsibilities
Create engaging lessons and enhance their test-taking skills.
Manage relationships with parents and students, providing lesson plans and monthly progress reports.
Qualifications
Student or recent graduate at a top 20 school (Ivy Plus) pursuing a degree in a relevant subject (English, History, Political Science, Education, or a related field).
ACT or SAT scores in the 99th percentile on the Reading/Writing section (770+).
At least 1 year of prior tutoring experience (through an agency or independently).
Ability to work independently, developing lesson plans and managing relationships with students/parents.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with curriculum development and instructional design.
Familiarity with online tutoring platforms and virtual classroom management tools.
Strong knowledge of SAT test strategies and recent changes to the test format.
Compensation
$35-$45 per hour
Opportunities for commission for new students onboarded and profit share.
