GS&F is looking for a highly experienced Senior Copywriter to join our growing Creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting strategically focused copy that drives business results for our clients. You should have a wealth of experience producing bold, persuasive messaging across all channels. Being an endless source of ideas and conceptual thinking, you will be instrumental in our creative success. Prior agency experience is an absolute must for this position.


You’ll likely need the following qualifications and experience to be successful in this role:

  • We believe that years of experience is just a number; that said, typically someone in this role has 5-7 years of copywriting experience
  • Prior agency experience would certainly help you get up to speed more quickly, but it isn’t required for this role
  • Agencies are fast—like really fast—so you should be drawn to that work style and able to juggle lots of projects and lots of competing demands and deadlines
  • Proven conceptual thinker with the ability to write clear and convincing copy across broad applications and channels
  • Persuasive and confident presenter and has an effective ability to sell creative ideas to clients and external stakeholders
  • One part creative, one part idea generator and one part business strategist, you should have the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with senior client stakeholders and be able to hold your own in C-suite conversations
  • An effective communicator of ideas and concepts and can discuss the details of feedback without taking critique personally
  • Works hard to build trustworthy and productive relationships with Account Managers
  • Understands the value that other disciplines within an integrated setting can bring and champions “best idea wins” thinking, no matter from whom the idea comes
  • Insatiably curious around new trends, emerging media, pop culture, disrupting campaigns and more
  • Isn’t afraid of voicing a dissenting or contrarian point of view, especially when it supports the brief, the creative idea or the business objectives of a project

We are only considering candidates that currently live in or wish to relocate to Nashville in the near future (first 90 days of employment).
