About the Role
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will build and enhance data visualizations, empower internal teams and customers with actionable insights, and contribute to the development of a robust reporting suite. Collaborating with product, engineering, and customer success teams, your work will directly influence customer outcomes and business growth.
What You'll Do
Your key responsibilities will include:
Data Visualization: Build and expand embedded reporting capabilities using tools like Looker, extending the underlying LookML data model to create meaningful insights.
Data Quality and Structure: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve data pipelines and optimize data structure feeding into the reporting platform.
Process Automation: Productionize reporting workflows, including version control, testing, and code deployment.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Prioritize and manage product and customer requests, offering realistic timelines and regular progress updates.
Training and Enablement: Deliver training sessions for internal teams and customers, ensuring they can maximize the value of the reporting suite.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience in Data Analytics or related field.
4+ years of experience in an analytics role.
Expertise in creating data visualizations and complex data models using tools like Looker or Power BI.
Experience in Looker
Proficiency in SQL, with a strong preference for MySQL experience.
Attention to detail and confidence with stakeholders across diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data warehousing architecture and data modelling best practices.
Familiarity with modern data warehouses (e.g., Redshift).
Exposure to AWS services and ETL processes.
Experience in creating and maintaining customer-facing reporting suites.
