Senior Group Treasury Dealer and Analyst

As a Senior Group Treasury Dealer and Analyst, you will be responsible for providing services to and on behalf of various business units and operating entities of the Pepco group and for implementing best practices in the Treasury area.

Key Responsibilities:

• execution of financial risk hedging and cash management strategies

-quantification and measurement of exposure to market risks

-concluding appropriate transactions on financial markets

-analysis of financial markets (macroeconomic data, trends) and recommending new transactions

-identification and determination of exposure exposed to market risk (currencies, commodities, interest rates)

-forecasting cash flows and reporting current cash flows

-periodic reports

-provide any other required reports

• identification of opportunities to improve the market risk management strategy (currency, interest rate, commodity risk)
• authorization of operations and routing of orders performed by the Back Office
• participation in creating best-in-class processes in the Treasury area
• active participation in Treasury and company projects
• increasing efficiency through standardization and consolidation of operations/processes
• co-creating policies in the Treasury area

Requirements:

• Min. 5 years of experience in a related position (preferable in an international organisation)
• University degree in finance
• Advanced knowledge of derivative transactions and cash management operations across various financial markets
• Knowledge of English at min. B2 (fluent communication)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel; knowledge of Treasury Management System IT2 and 360T platform welcome
• High analytical, organizational and team working skills
• Openness to working in a dynamic international environment
• Willingness to continuously learn and implement improvements
• Ability to communicate clearly and openly with other employees, especially when explaining financial market transactions to stakeholders outside the Treasury department
• Certificates in Treasury (APT, CPT) and retail experience are an added advantage
