The position will report to Associate Director, E-Commerce Merchandising.
Overall Responsibilities:
Develop and own a comprehensive merchandise assortment strategy for Sol de Janeiro.com, considering customer preferences, market channel differentiation, margin impact, and sales data
Create and own mix of business strategy for the year
Provide Sales Ops with final assortment plans and product importance to overall assortment, considering Global strategy for the brand (big bets for the year, product mix of business)
Provide both qualitative and quantitative analysis of product performance, SKU efficiency, and product mix vs forecast, drawing insights to affect assortment and marketing strategies and future product line
Own the creation of and reporting out all sell-thru plans for new launches to key stakeholders
Monitor and analyze inventory levels, sell-through rates, and other key performance indicators. Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies to maximize sales and minimize excess stock
Work with Global Product Marketing team to develop exclusives within the dotcom assortment, keeping in mind commercial viability and profitability implications
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to make informed decisions on product selection and creation

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in buying, merchandising, and/or planning
Prior experience in product marketing preferred
Demonstrated experience working with Shopify and Microsoft Office suite
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Beauty industry preferred
Salary Range
$110,000—$120,000 USD
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
