Senior Project Manager - Battery Energy Storage - Utility-Scale

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Role Overview: This position is within the execution arm of one of the largest fund managers within greenfield renewable energy. With over 25 BESS development projects in their portfolio, they're looking for a Senior Project Manager that can help support both the technical and commercial aspects of their development and construction program for BESS projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects, with a focus on BESS.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including EPC's, vendor relationships, and internal investment teams.
• Overseeing the development of Battery Energy Storage projects through COD.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Environmental Science, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy project management, with a preference in Battery Energy Storage
• The ideal candidate would have seen at least 3 projects reach COD
• Willingness to travel as needed.
