Our Client is searching for a Senior Vice President of Sales. In this role you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. This individual will lead a team of sales professionals driving performance and fostering a culture of success. Key to this role is the development and growth of a team of high performing sales and account management professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive individual and team success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and objectives to deliver tailored logistics solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends, staying ahead of industry developments and positioning the company for future growth.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities for success.
  • Utilize data analytics and sales metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization of sales strategies and processes.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and generate leads.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the logistics or transportation industry, with a focus on 3PL brokerage services.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices, with the ability to coach and develop sales professionals at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Results-oriented mindset focused on exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer value.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
  • Ability to travel as required (estimated 50%+)

Salary: $200k to $250k base plus 50% bonus, uncapped.
