Senior Writer/Editor

Berman and Company is a dynamic public relations firm looking for a Senior Writer/Editor to join our team. The right candidate will have superb writing and editing skills and the ability to write clear, concise copy across a myriad of issue areas and topics. 

This role is in-person. Local or willing-to-relocate candidates only.

Role Snapshot

• Write compelling and well-sourced op-eds for placement in top news outlets across the country.
• Oversee a team of writers, providing guidance and feedback on their work.
• Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and style.
• Collaborate with writers to develop and refine content ideas.
• Manage deadlines, ensuring that content is delivered on time.
• Conduct research and fact-checking to ensure the accuracy of information presented.
• Provide writing and editing support across projects and issue areas, including but not limited to video scripts, website content, and research reports.

• Strong demonstrated writing and editing skills, with an impeccable command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in reviewing and proofreading content.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
