Job Description
Your role at Tumi:
Responsible for managing and evolving the brand voice through creative storytelling. Craft clear and compelling copy, guided by strategy and seasonal concepts. Lead the copywriting team and work hand in hand with a team of graphic designers to produce print and digital marketing assets in addition to supporting requests from PR, social, human resources and customer service.
You will work on-site 4 days per week with the option to work remotely one day per week.

Job Description
Your role at Tumi:
Responsible for managing and evolving the brand voice through creative storytelling. Craft clear and compelling copy, guided by strategy and seasonal concepts. Lead the copywriting team and work hand in hand with a team of graphic designers to produce print and digital marketing assets in addition to supporting requests from PR, social, human resources and customer service.
You will work on-site 4 days per week with the option to work remotely one day per week.
- Oversee companywide copy needs and manage brand voice
- Write and edit marketing emails, site copy, product descriptions, social (organic & paid), press releases, packaging, in-store signage, SEO, product knowledge, and internal communication (including D&I committee communication)
- Team with global partners to revise and approve international creative, ensuring a consistent brand voice across all markets
- Work cross-functionally to produce content and maintain brand standards
- Collaborate with designers to conceptualize and execute 360 seasonal campaigns
- Apply customer data and learnings to create inspired and engaging content
- Translate technical product information into creative, customer-facing language
- Stay in the know on relevant industry trends, as well as the industries that inspire our brand
- Lead marketing point of contact on company run Sustainability committee
- At least 6 years professional writing experience at an agency, in-house or in publishing
- A retail background, luxury experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism (or comparable work experience)
- A dynamic portfolio that demonstrates creative thinking and a passion for storytelling
- Eagle-eyed proofing skills, knowing every detail matters
- Understands the nuances in voice between mediums (email, home and landing pages, print, social, packaging, etc.)
- Strong conceptual skills with knowledge of how copy relates to art, design, graphics and typography
