About the Role

The Sr. Social Media Manager for LG H&H USA is a critical part of the digital marketing team, which is at the center of the growth plan for our brands. This person will develop and oversee the social media strategy for Physiogel and Dr. Groot. We are looking for someone who is obsessed with growing awareness of brands through experimenting with new tactics and strategies, grounded in data, and creative in approach to grow a fan base for our brands.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Director to architect and oversee organic social & influencer marketing strategies for key product launches and help develop big picture, always-on strategy for ongoing, evergreen marketing campaigns as well as brand and retail moments
  • Own all paid partnerships and campaigns, partner with Influencer Manager for execution of campaigns from contracting, to negotiation, talent and content briefing, content delivery and internal dissemination of contents for maximization within the organization
  • Help drive strategy and process, oversee influencer-led paid social content partnering with Paid Social team to develop and maximize awareness-driving content
  • Support key influencer and brand events and experiences ensuring activations are supported through organic social content and key influencer partnerships
  • Use data, viral trends, competitor and customer insights to shape brand’s social content marketing and community management strategy and partner with Social Associate to provide regular reporting on results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Work with Director to evolve reporting, analytics and insights and contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly reports inclusive of social media and influencer results providing recommendations for optimization
  • Help develop standards, expertise and best practices within organic social and paid and earned influencer to inform and scale program creating and implementing processes and timelines and owning go-to-market strategies
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, PR, retail, Paid Social, and E-commerce teams to execute integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels and ensure social and influencer strategies are aligned to brand and sales priorities
  • Develop detailed briefs outlining campaign goals, key messages, content pillars, key platforms, tone of voice and desired visuals
  • Maintain expertise in all things organic social and influencer marketing including platform updates, rising creator talent, FTC regulations, equitable fee structures, negotiation and deal-making
  • Monitor and analyze social media & influencer campaign performance data to identify trends, optimize campaigns and make data-driven recommendations to inform content opportunities
  • Support research, vetting and evaluation of social tech solutions and critical workstreams and develop and manage relationships with social vendors, partners and agency resources
  • Lead the team with clear communication, provide career growth opportunities and provide feedback and tools needed to achieve professional growth


Qualifications


  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in social media, influencer relations, social content, and paid media experience for a consumer brand (in-house or agency)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, Business Administration or related field
  • Expert in the social and digital landscape with strong understanding of various social media platforms, trends, and best practices
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision making
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and develop big picture strategy
  • Experience with tools like Tribe Dynamics, Dash Hudson, Grin, and MeltWater is a plus
  • Leadership and team management experience preferred.
