Our Talent Acquisition team is responsible for attracting, recruiting and onboarding exceptional talent to accelerate Google DeepMind’s mission. Within this team sits our centralized Coordination function, which is responsible for ensuring high quality candidate experience at a global scale, whilst providing comprehensive coordination support for our hiring activities across the organization. This role will sit within the Coordination function, and will be primarily focused on supporting hiring across our North America teams.

The Role

This role will be based in Mountain View or New York, and will report into a Talent Acquisition Partner within our North America team. You will collaborate closely with the other Talent Acquisition Coordinators within the global Coordination function, and will work in an agile and flexible way to help ensure we are able to hire at pace across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Interview Scheduling: Efficiently manage a high volume of video and in-person interviews across multiple time zones, skillfully handling reschedules with speed and accuracy.
  • Senior & Executive Hiring: Provide coordination support for senior roles across North America by managing confidential information, working with Executive Assistants, and hosting seamless and impactful onsite visits.
  • Working with Vendors: Collaborate with our team of vendors to ensure optimal candidate experience.
  • Interview Preparation: Develop comprehensive information packs to help candidates prepare effectively and create detailed briefing guidance for interviewers.
  • Candidate Experience: Foster exceptional candidate experiences from initial contact to final decision, ensuring thorough and timely communication, and prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Pipeline & ATS Expertise: Meticulously track candidate progress and feedback within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), actively participating in hiring syncs and providing updates to hiring managers.
  • Championing Inclusivity: Prioritize diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process, ensuring equitable opportunities for all candidates.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with recruiters, and hiring managers, serving as a trusted point of contact and effectively managing expectations. Collaborate with our Onboarding & Orientation team to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Manage all necessary documentation, including contracts and identification checks, ensuring adherence to internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Relocation & Immigration: Initiate and manage relocation and immigration processes for applicable candidates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes and candidate experience, contributing to broader Talent Acquisition projects.
