Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of UI/UX design and implementation, utilizing the latest tools and best practices to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. This role involves designing and developing high-quality software solutions, enhancing user experience, and supporting the overall architecture of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
  • Create the aesthetics of the UI/UX within websites or products, including layout menus, drop-down options, colors, and fonts.
  • Allow for interface customization to meet user needs.
  • Build storyboards to conceptualize designs and accurately convey project plans to clients and senior management.
  • Combine interface design concepts with digital design to establish milestones and encourage cooperation and teamwork.
  • Enhance user experience by creating seamless navigation through various digital programs and interfaces within the organization.
  • Utilize on-premise or FEDRAMP-certified cloud-based wireframe tools (e.g., AdobeXD, Figma) to build high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes to clearly demonstrate functionality and appearance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, such as application responsiveness.
  • Conduct testing of sample applications and software to assess user experience and ease of design.
  • Analyze customer responses and application data to examine high-traffic web pages and determine why certain webpages perform better.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in UI/UX design and implementation.
  • Experience with wireframe tools such as AdobeXD, Figma, or similar.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Strong graphic design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Ability to translate user requirements into interactive and visually appealing designs.
  • Proficiency in creating storyboards, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot UX issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Compensation And Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $108,700 to $147,925 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
