What Are We Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is as passionate about our ambition as we are. Proving the effectiveness of culture-forward work doesn’t just take great ideas, but great insights, planning, measurement, and a strategist capable of bringing those things together.
As Vice President, Cultural Strategy, you will be a founding member of Momentum’s cultural practice, leading strategy development and delivering more meaningful, culture-driven marketing strategies across our top-tier accounts.
You’ll report to directly the General Manager of the cultural practice and collaborate with a variety of teams to bring great work to life.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
Lead projects that put our client’s brands at the forefront of culture, creating confidence in both our work and clients
Collaborate with various departments, like research, digital strategy, and analytics to ensure a culture-first approach is applied across all touchpoints of a project and to prove the impact of our work
Develop a rapport with clients and other agency partners, providing day-to-day client contact, managing the relationship & expectations, and troubleshooting conflicts with senior clients and team members as they arise
Evolve existing and create new products to be sold under our cultural offering and play a part in growing the team and the practice
Serve as a subject matter expert/thought leader and content development stakeholder for culture-first client presentations
Inspire the agency by actively staying up to date on trends, finding proactive opportunities for relevant clients
Work closely on new business development and pitches
Become fluent in (and contribute towards constant improvement of) Momentum capabilities, processes and culture.
Be a part of annual planning conversations and decisions
Foster a team environment that champions respect and partnership in service of people and great work

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS )
Bachelor’s degree preferred
10+ years’ experience within a marketing agency/consulting firm with a focus on culture-first or multicultural strategy
Demonstrated ability to be an effective leader in a cross-functional team environment
Thinks clearly and diplomatically when participating in a discussion to field complex or sensitive questions from clients/internal groups
Ability to identify and define business problems, issues, and demonstrate an intuitive ability to discern what is important.
Strong analytical, presentation and listening skills
Confidence and credibility to hold high-level strategic discussions with senior executives internally and at client level
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proven collaborator who is solution oriented, organized and detail–oriented
Creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in learning
Self-motivated, high energy individual who can function in a high demand, performance driven environment
Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with comfort for ambiguity

SALARY RANGE
The salary range for this position is $165,000 to $185,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
