Vice President, Head of Sales & Services (PTP)

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the strategic direction for GAT in alignment with global objectives and provide administrative leadership to the day-to-day operations of the business. 2. Oversee all operational functions especially sales, service, engineering, process automation, project management. 3. P/L responsibility to ensure financial performance goals are met. 4. Responsible for equipment and service business primarily in Pharmaceuticals (PTP) and also in non-Pharmaceutical (PTF) markets and applications. 5. Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and customer focus. 6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and industry networks. 7. Interface with Glatt Group management to enhance worldwide performance. 8. Staff motivation, development, hiring and firing in coordination with Human Resources. 9. Develop and implement plans to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 10. Ongoing business development strategies and tactics 11. Ensure customer satisfaction through both personal and subordinates’ activities. 12. Maintain proficiency and observe trends in all technical and market areas related to Glatt equipment, services, and technology. 13. Deliver market insights and intelligence for the evaluation for product development & product management 14. Contribute to development of company (exploring new markets, lead generation, identifying opportunities for sales and partnerships). 15. Developing a strong, self-reliant service team for local and global services. 16. Ensure compliance with Glatt Group standards and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Customer-centric technical professional with strong management skills. 2. Fiscal, commercial and legal aptitude. 3. Sales background required. 4. Intercultural competence. 5. High energy, positive attitude. 6. Experience directly managing complex projects. 7. Able to interact interdepartmentally at all levels to successfully achieve objectives. 8. Experience with privately held company with active owner participation. 9. Good presentation and speaking skills. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Mechanical, Automation, or Process Technology), MBA (management or marketing) preferred.
  • 10-15 years of managerial experience preferred, in the pharmaceutical or related process industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in strategic planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to travel domestically (20%-25%) as needed, as well as occasional international travel.
