Summary

The Vice President, Industry Principals reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales. This position will lead, mentor, and develop the Industry Principal team. This role will collaborate and align the team to work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing and Customer Success teams to provide revenue impact and improved overall client success. This position will leverage the pragmatic framework to allow IPs to participate in robust competitive & win/loss analysis programs. The VP, Industry Principals will drive a collaborative, innovate culture in a matrixed environment where the IPs will be a core component of being a soundboard for market feedback. This role will also represent RealPage to showcase industry and thought leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product and Customer Success leaders to create strong cross functional teamwork within the RealPage organization.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing and Product to strategize on go-to-market motions for RealPage solutions.
  • Lead the Industry Principal team to prioritize responsibilities and scale as needed to optimize performance.
  • Lead & optimize win/loss analysis to help inform product, marketing, and sales strategy to best serve our industry.
  • Represent RealPage as a thought leader and subject matter expert via multiple channels including webcasts, blogs, white papers, conferences, and other venues as needed.
  • Report to peer leaders on industry trends related to platform solutions, competitive offerings, and customer feedback.
  • Represent the collective voice of the Industry Principal team internally and externally.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • 10 years’ experience in the rental housing industry.
  • 7 years leadership experience, multifamily industry or SaaS solution provider preferred.



Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong command of writing fundamentals.
  • Ability to create industry relevant business cases.
  • Expert presentation skills.
  • Ability to succinctly and fluently present complex ideas in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Ability to present via in-person meetings, web meetings, and webcasts or videos.

The employee must have the ability to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. May be required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May be required to lift or move 10+ pounds.
