We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Vice President of Construction to join our growing team. This is an exhilarating opportunity for an experienced professional to provide leadership, direction, and oversight during all phases of construction around the company's portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in residential construction, specifically single-family homes, and a proven track record of delivering quality projects on time and within budget. If you are a strategic thinker, with a strong, hands-on approach, who can lead and inspire teams to perform at their best, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the construction process for single-family homes, ensuring that projects are completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Develop and implement construction strategies, setting clear objectives and defined performance expectations for the construction team.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, fostering a cooperative environment to ensure project success.
• Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve project budgets, schedules, and plans, making adjustments as necessary to keep projects on track.
• Lead, coach, and develop construction teams, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local communities, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
• Implement and enforce company policies and standards, promoting a culture of integrity and compliance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the construction industry, specifically with single-family homes.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale residential construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
