Vice President Substation Construction - Southeast US (GA/FL)

The Vice President Substation Construction spearheads all utility Substation construction projects, ensuring their successful execution from conception to completion. This leadership role oversees the operational P/L, project finances, team management, and operational efficiency, delivering projects on time and within budget. The role will be tasked with growing the group and developing relationships with key Investor Owned Utilities (IOUs) in the southeast.

Key Responsibilities

• Building a High-Performing Team: Recruit, manage, and develop a skilled Operational team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Strategic Direction: Align Operations strategies with the company's overall vision, mission, and goals.
• Process Improvement: Implement best practices, technologies, and systems to streamline EPC operations.
• Financial Oversight: Manage the division's budget and ensure project profitability.
• Client Focus: Lead business development efforts and secure contracts with target clients.
• Project Management Expertise: Oversee all aspects of projects, including bidding, proposals, contracts, subcontractor management, and project execution.
• Safety First: Promote a safety-conscious environment and ensure adherence to all safety regulations.
• Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate project information to stakeholders and collaborate interdepartmentally to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, with a minimum of 12 years in substation engineering and construction
• Proven leadership skills with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
