- [Instructor] The focus of Module 4 of this course is Azure Virtual WAN, and we'll start with a discussion of virtual WAN SKUs. I do want to quickly just recap the function of Azure Virtual WAN, the core value proposition there. It's a cloud-based SD-WAN that optimizes and automates branch-to-branch connectivity through Azure. It's useful for connecting multiple branch locations to Azure infrastructure and services with centralized route management. Remember that. Now, if we look at this visually, I can deploy multiple virtual WAN hubs in my virtual WAN. I can connect those hubs through a hub-to-hub connection. Those hubs are going to centralize routing to my virtual networks, and when I connect my VPNs, be those express route, site-to-site, or point-to-site, my virtual WAN hub is going to give me centralized route management, largely automated, while still giving me the ability to inject static routes where necessary, allowing my network to grow and evolve in a largely hands-free…
