You should have much greater awareness, of not just what activities the BA will do, but the value business analysis can deliver to a project. If you have a BA, you'll know how to speak their language and have healthy expectations for their timeline. If you don't have a BA, you'll understand what gaps might exist in the project work and how you might be able to compensate. Learning more about business analysis will only make you a better project manager. I've done both roles and I'll tell you what, I wouldn't trade my BA experience for the world.
