Modifying a room calculation point
- [Instructor] We're starting a new Revit project now. It's called RoomCalculationPoint.rvt file. You can download it from the library as usual to follow along the video. When you open it up, it should default to floor plan level zero, as you can see in the project browser here. And as you can see, we've got two little rooms. We've got room 001 and room 002. And you can see the areas there as well which are inconsequential in this case. But more importantly you can see a door between the two rooms. So go select your door like so. And you'll see it's a door internal single nine ten by twenty one ten millimeters. Now again, this is all in metric because I'm using a metric version of Revit. Don't worry about the units in this case. It's all about the work flow all about process. Now these doors in Revit, the door families themselves have what is called a room calculation point.
