Deciding on high-level logistics

Deciding on high-level logistics

- Once you've identified what type of live event you want to run, you need to nail down some high level logistics. First, length. How long will the livecast be? There's a big difference in planning a 20 minute live versus a 60 minute live. Now, some of it comes down to how you structure it and some of it comes down to the depth and the scope that you intend to cover. And depending on your goals, different lengths may work better. Are you creating a product demo aiming for top of funnel engagement? You might want to error a bit on the shorter side to capture maximum attention with minimal fall off. Are you interviewing a thought leader for bottom of funnel retention? You can probably go longer because your already engaged audience may appreciate a more in depth conversation. Second, collaborators. Who will be involved in the livecast? Will you include a co-host, a guest, a panel? Reach out early to make sure…
