Because I took this course as an Illustrator "REFRESHER" after using it for decades, here is my summary:
The learning process should enable comfortable confidence with Illustrator, enabling new adopters to use it naturally. However, placing so much emphasis on shortcut keys to the point of being tested on them is not helpful. Illustrator can be daunting for someone who has never used it before. The software has a great selection toolbar and menus that work well. If the user chooses to delve deeper, they can use shortcuts for frequently used actions.
