Importing elements between projects
- [Instructor] In today's world of audio production, you can be halfway across the world collaborating with another person. In this movie, we'll explore importing tracks from one project to another to make this kind of collaboration possible. Here we have a little ukulele part, a percussion and a piano. It sounds like this, (gentle music) Go further into the song. (gentle music continues) Now our collaborator sent back a logic project called elements overdubs and we have it right here in our file folder. Now, if our collaborator was using a different da we'd have to pull a bunch of audio files by dragging them and dropping them into the main window. But because our collaborator used Logic pro 10, like us each track can have MIDI patches, complex mixed routing, audio edits, loops, et cetera. With logic import project tool, we can get all of that to come into our project seamlessly. We're going to go up to file, import, logic projects and we're going to click on the element overdubs…
