Joining data with data blending

- [Instructor] In addition to adding data from multiple platforms and multiple sources in the same dashboard, data sources can be combined to become a new one. This is what blending refers to. The top benefit of data blending is being able to join data from multiple platforms to visualize them together in the same tables, charts, or graphs. This is also a way to add your own information to join with the data, like providing the number of sales that representatives have based on their territory to compare with marketing data or web and app user activity. For example, let's say I have that task. The organization has named territories that they use internally for KPIs, like Northeast Region or West-North Central Division. I have the dimension to show state names in Google Analytics, but there certainly aren't dimensions for these custom types of references.
