New obstacles to clarity

- There's a region in the North Atlantic where numerous planes and ships have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. It's referred to as the Bermuda Triangle. Many global teams I work with have been impacted by similar mysterious circumstances. I'm talking about distance, culture and language and to make it easy to remember, I've adopted a concept called the DiCuLa Triangle which is an abbreviation for the first two letters of distance, culture and language, three factors that can get in the way of communication and create problems for your project. Let me explain the DiCuLa Triangle in more detail and suggest things you can do to avoid its negative influence. First, there's distance which represents the separation between the supplier and the customer of the message. When there's physical distance between people that don't know each other, real communication can be hard to achieve.
