- Let's talk about some strategies you can use for script writing. One of the first things I like to think about is what are my opportunities and what are my threats, and you can of course imagine some of the threats are going to be, what is the visual for this hole in my script. So I usually try to avoid what I call the "black hole" and think about how I could shoot that scene or how somebody could shoot that scene to cover that, so it might be designing a camera that's a point-of-view camera that floats through a hallway or it might be a drone shot that's an establishing shot, or there might be some other ways to get around issues of content. For example, you might need to build in a recreation of a scene, it might be something as simple as making sure some B-roll gets reenacted or it might be something much more dramatic like an entire reenactment, for example I did a whole thing in an operating room where we reenacted how a surgery would go so these are different extremes of…
