- It's useful to have a script workflow checklist just to be sure you're hitting all the points you need to in your scripting process. So, let's just walk through a couple of key highlights. First, you want to start with those primary goals, the target audience, and the target outcomes. I just want to remind you, and I'm sure you already know this, avoid too many goals. Everybody always wants to lay on so many goals or too broad an audience, and that's just not going to be all that successful, so, just be sure you try to narrow those things down. It may be that you really are creating two different scripts for two different audiences and two different target goals. Make sure you use pre-interviews if you're doing a documentary style piece or storyboards if you're doing animation, and rough out your storyline on paper first.
