1. Instead of concluding what’s right or wrong, ask your children empowering questions like, ‘What do you think about this?’ or “What would you choose to do?” to encourage independence and critical thinking. 2. Give your children the space to explore and make mistakes. ‘Allowance’ doesn’t mean permissive; it means being non-judgmental and supportive of their choices and learning processes. 3. When your child’s behavior triggers you, ask: “Who Does this belong to?” Is this stress really yours, or are you picking it up from others? Most times, we react to our children based on our past experiences which may have nothing to do with the current situation or scenario. #EmpoweredParenting #MindfulMoments #AccessTools #EffectiveParenting #ParentingTips #ConsciousParenting #ConsciousKids #FamilyGrowth #AccessConsciousness #ParentingTools #MindfulParenting #RaisingKids #ParentingHacks #HealthyFamilies

This week, we’re diving into the world of managing challenging behaviors—a topic every parent can relate to. We often think of behavior as just an action, but today’s guest, Dr. Andrew Kahn from Understood.org, highlights that behavior is a form of communication. By reframing how we understand what our children are trying to express through their actions, we can open up new possibilities for positive outcomes for both parents and children. "We can—and must—create a tougher generation, starting with our own kids, starting with ourselves..., and we have to start taking real action. And that action begins with us—the parents. We can’t expect our children to be healthy and resilient humans if we aren’t. The incredible, important, and unrelenting job of being a parent isn’t best accomplished by following a checklist of how-tos. It’s by living and breathing the kind of human that you want your child to be, and then parenting and leading from that same position". ~ 10 rules for resilience.
