Assume you are an educator. School or university, your choice. Imagine your class has 40 learners. After you begin the class, you realise that a part of this class is going to get good grades while the other half is not going to score well. What do learners who dont end up with good grades take out of your class? You have had them invest multiple hours from their life into your supervision to learn a subject. What skills do you leave them with? Ask yourself this question. What does the academically weaker section of the class take out of the 4 months long course? - Do they carry out any special skill? - Do they take away good lessons out of the course? - Do they end up loving the course? Class of learners will always be composed of many types of individuals. It is the educator's responsibility to ensure that each and every student (yes 100%) get some share of learning out of this course. This calls for a learner centric learning objectives by the educator. Often simply said than done, this approach ends up delivering much more than a regular course. #100daysofeducators101, Day 6 #100daysofeducators101 is a 100 day learning series aimed at collating and sharing the best practices of the academia from an educator's point of view.
