Training Doesn’t Have to Be Boring: Making Resilience Sticky! I ❤️ my fun resources that have turned up for next weeks sessions. Forget endless text heavy slides and old~school talk, they may look professional but do nothing for real growth. Our Resilient as Fudge mindset, skillset, and toolset training sessions, keep the fun alive and encourages learning through play, injecting creativity into every session. Why Play Works: ✅ Forces You Out of the Box: Colourful tactile materials shake up your usual thinking patterns, sparking creativity and innovation, whilst embracing your childlike sense of wonder. ✅ Breaks Down Barriers: Interactive, playful tools allow you to connect your life story to the content, drop your guard, bond with each other, and build trust. ✅ Sticks in Your Mind: You’re more likely to remember what you learned when you’ve experienced it in a hands-on, memorable way that taps into the “feelings” component of resilience. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ When you’re enjoying the process, you not only absorb the lessons, but you remember and apply them better, especially under pressure. 👉 Ready to ditch the dull and dive into fun learning to find your sweet recipe ? 🍭 NOTE: Keep an eye out for our 1 year open programme coming soon… #resiliencetraining #resilientasfudge #makindresiliencesticky #fun

Weekend Musings - We can learn from anything While on a short break, I spent some time thinking about learning and asking myself the following questions: 💡Who can we learn from? 💡What can we learn? 💡When and where do we learn? 💡Why do we learn? 1️⃣ We can learn from anyone - from teachers, mentors, those with more experiences than us, superiors, team members, friends, and even strangers. 2️⃣ Depending on the need of learning, we can define what we need or want to learn. Sometimes to subject of learning comes without us knowing. 3️⃣ Anytime and anywhere. 4️⃣ The ‘why’ to learning. What is our purpose? Sometimes it can be simple, sometimes it can be profound. My takeaways from this break: 🩷 Learning to accept who I am and others, and look for ways to uplift myself and make an impact. 🩷 Learning to accept failure, and find ways to improve myself for the next challenge. 🩷 Learning to live with our environment and society, and do my part to give back. #positivethinking #lifelonglearning #weekendmusings

The Three Learning “Superpowers” in Every Pre-Opening! Every team has its learning superheroes! Here are the top three superpowers to look out for when preparing for the big launch: 🔵 Visual Visionaries These folks are all about the view. From photos to charts to color-coded schedules, they thrive with visual cues. Show them pictures and patterns and they will connect the dots. 🔊 Audio Aces These learners connect through sound. Tone, clarity, and rhythm are their secret sauce. So, when it’s time to learn, think radio host mode—they’re all ears and ready to absorb every word. ✋ Kinesthetic Champs The hands-on heroes! Often underestimated, these doers may not ace every quiz in the beginning, but hand them a task during service, and watch them soar. Come opening day, they’ll be the ones dazzling everyone by having mastered the ropes through pure action! Embracing each person’s unique learning superpower not only makes training more enjoyable but also helps our teams reach their full potential. And here’s the key: don’t give up on those who may be struggling—pre-openings can be tough for hands-on practice. Give them time, and once they get into action, they’ll often surprise you with their skills! #TeamTraining #SuperheroLearning #HospitalityLife #PreOpening #Hospitality

Be the first one in the room. That’s my mantra as a facilitator. Before the crowd arrives, I’m there—adjusting the setup, testing the tech, and setting the tone. Those early moments alone are where the session truly begins. It’s all about making sure everything is ready to create an impactful learning experience the moment participants step in.
