Overnight visitors accounted for 50% of all visitor arrivals during the period, staying for 3.2 nights on average. And they were happy: visitors were satisfied with their overall experience in Hong Kong. I am regularly asked how I do #businessdevelopment because I seem to be "everywhere". I say it's impossible for me to actually be everywhere. But there are things that I intentionally try to do to give the CHP Law LLC brand some exposure (of course, I caveat that i'm not an expert by any measure, but I keep trying different ways to get our firm's brand out there). It's akin to what this The Straits Times article says about building the Raffles Hotel and Singapore brand in 24 Raffles hotels across the globe (I didn't know this!). "All of us can be like the Raffles Hotel - that is to say, anyone can add to their country's brand, while achieving their own personal and professional goals". CHP Law LLC is only 5 years old. We don't have a long established track record. But we are young, dynamic, service-oriented and good at what we do. More importantly, we are #Singapore lawyers - and Singapore has an unparalleled global branding. So what I do is sell #Singapore on the world stage. I regularly speak about the #restructuring tools available in the Singapore courts to faciliate cross-border restructuring. I do the same for #internationalarbitration given that #SIAC is one of the top seats for IA in the world. I invite my friends from around the region to join global networks like INSOL International and the Young SIAC, so that we have more opportunties to interact and learn from each other. Does it work?
