Our team worked closely with the FAW to evaluate potential league structures for the 2026/27 season, with a clear goal: to create a league that drives fan engagement, enhances competitive balance, and improves the standard of football to ensure Welsh clubs can consistently compete on the European stage. 📈 Our recommendation: A 𝟭𝟲-𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, which: - Maximises Connection and fan engagement through high-stakes matches and increased geographical representation across Wales - Promotes Quality, Jeopardy and competitive balance, ensuring teams are better prepared for European competition - Increases opportunities for matchday, sponsorship, and broadcast revenue growth We’re proud to support Welsh football’s growth and excited to see the positive impact this new structure will have for clubs, fans, and the broader football community. ⚽ Here's to the next chapter for the 𝗖𝘆𝗺𝗿𝘂 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿! This is HUGE news! As much as I believe that the move to professionalization is needed to move the sport forward, the lack of clubs within certain areas/regions is concerning. As someone who is involved in netball in Scotland, I fear this could have huge implications. Not only at an elite level, but particularly at grassroots, through player pathways, and for umpires and coaches. I am excited to see what the new era of netball brings, however I do hope there are plans in the near future to ensure that the Super League is accessible for and representative of the whole of the UK (including Scotland, NI, the South West, etc). #NetballSuperLeague #SportDevelopment
