Dealerships often recommend replacing entire components rather than addressing the specific issue at hand. In this instance, the dealership would have suggested replacing the entire transfer case—a job that could set you back around $6,000. At Joe Davis Autosport, we believe in smarter solutions. Instead of opting for a full transfer case replacement, we assessed the problem and identified that only the chain needed replacement.
