We’re installing solar panels at select Visy sites in Victoria and Queensland to cut energy use and improve the sustainability of our products. This means less pressure on the grid and as we bought it an an off peak rate, it helps the bottom line. Micro grid neighborhoods are the future. Tesla megapack + solar on each home could be a shared cost / benefit by the community it supports. Association fees vs energy bills make so much dollars and cents. Say goodbye to power outages and eventually could be amortization scheduled to a zero cost. It's a shame currently Consumers Energy, DTE and other utilities monopolies are able to block complete off grid scenarios. Maybe that's the point of this proposal to fight it? From what I have been told when looking into Solar + Powerwalls at my home the utilities can block me going off grid
