Production Powerhouse at the Touch of a Button? 🎥🔥 As a creative who has ventured into the world of filmmaking, my exploration of AI tools like Midjourney and Runway has been truly eye-opening. These platforms have revolutionised my approach, enabling me to manage every detail of production—from storyboarding to scene setting, camera angles, lighting, and even the choice of cameras—all from my laptop. This evolution in filmmaking technology raises some compelling questions: Are we witnessing the emergence of a new breed of filmmaker? Who now has the opportunity to tell their stories? Is this the rebirth of the filmmaking industry?

According to Jeffrey Katzenberg, the co-founder of DreamWorks Animation, advancements in artificial intelligence are poised to revolutionize the animation industry, potentially reducing the cost of producing blockbuster animated films by approximately 90%. "In the past creating a top-tier animated movie required the labor of 500 artists over five years." the DreamWorks co-founder said during a panel discussion at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in Singapore. However, Katzenberg anticipates that with AI integration, this timeframe could shrink significantly.
