The session, attended by 23 scientists from 16 states, covered crucial techniques like nematode identification, diagnosis, and effective management strategies. Haryana University’s VC, BR Kamboj , highlighted the role of Artificial Intelligence in detecting nematode-infested crops, urging innovative solutions to combat this growing agricultural challenge. The training also emphasized sustainable practices like crop rotation and biological controls to safeguard crops and soil.

Agriculture! . When I got admission to study an aspect of Agricultural Science - Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, I was wondering what is all about this field. . For years, I had to navigate and discover how broad the field of Agriculture is. I wished I knew all these information earlier, this would have helped me in weighing and taking decisions around a career paths earlier. . One of the things I decided to do is to make sure I often have meaniful career chat with those presently in school or those trying to take any course that pertains to Agriculture Science. . The earlier one is informed, the better one begins earlier their career journey because most students are deprived of all that this field entails, and many fall for the crude information that agriculture is all about crude tools, and crude ways of farming without professional and divers opportunities. . I will be Having a session tonight with some students from the Faculty Agricultural Sciences(DLCF). .
