One of the key challenges for leaders is transitioning from being hands-on to embracing the role of Chief Culture Officer. It involves shifting attention from technical aspects of work to creating an environment that unleashes the potential of their team. Reflecting on my own experience transitioning from a lead special operations pilot to a commander, I realized that my role was no longer about completing tasks but about empowering and recognizing the potential of those under my leadership.
