At our #XCMGICFS6, the XGA20ACK-Li Electric Telescopic Boom Lift took center stage with its "synchronized action" showcase. Utilizing an onboard perception detection intelligent control system, the micro-movement and control precision of XCMG’s high-altitude machinery were vividly demonstrated. During the event, six units performed synchronized start and stop actions, with boom movements that were smooth and orderly. This outstanding performance is attributed to two key technologies: 1.Advanced Hydraulic System: Featuring a sectional multi-way valve with superior micro-movement capability, the machine’s action response time is under 1 second. 2.Leading Pre-Leveling Control Technology: Ensuring that the platform angle variation remains within 1° during boom movements, significantly enhancing operational comfort. 📢 Imagine to push a DMT blade without the hassle of a cable in the rods ! Now it is possible: the first test with a cableless DMT was performed this week in cooperation with the team of COWI in Göteborg - Sweden ! The DMT field readings are stored in a permanent memory and downloaded once the probe returns at surface using a short communication cable. The device is capable of operating autonomously in every context, from shallow onshore to deep offshore site investigations. Thanks to Isac Rosander who believed in this high tech solution and drove us to finalize it. Today we hosted our Track & Vehicle Interface Member Interest Group, which focused on the interface between wheel and rail, and a range of speakers shared their insights. We do this three times per year to align with Vehicle/Track System Interface Committee (V/T SIC) meetings held at RIA. 🔹 Nick Swift, Eversholt UK Rails Group Rail and Chair of V/T SIC, gave an update on the Chair and Committee's future activities, 🔹 Jackie Butterfield FIMMM, LB Foster, and RIA Rep on V/T SIC, provided an update on the previous three V/T SIC Committee meetings and related events. 🔹 Brian Whitney, Engineering Expert Track and S&C, Network Rail, discussed the recent developments in using machine learning and AI to analyse high speed video imagery in conjunction with ultrasonic rail inspection. 🔹 Prof. Jason Zheng Jiang, Professor of Dynamics and Control at the University of Bristol, shared insights and some technical information into the research work done for the RSSB on the Enhanced Trailing Arm Bush (E-TAB) Project. 🔹 Prof. Mark Burstow, Principal Vehicle Track Dynamics Engineer, Network Rail, gave an update on the current technical investigations and projects involving the wheel rail interface, particularly RCF crack growth, Squat Damage, and conicity caused hunting. Germany's largest seaport, the Port of Hamburg, alone handled more than 100 million tons of goods last year. In order to be able to withstand the continuously growing load of the associated shipping traffic in the long term and to create optimal conditions for the future, innovative solutions are required. Sensors from STS also make a valuable contribution to research and development work in this area.
