Ready to take your business results to the next level? It starts with your mindset. Do you ever wonder why some business owners seem to effortlessly achieve growth, make decisive moves, and stay ahead – while others feel stuck, working endless hours but never quite breaking through? The difference? A CEO mindset. Here's the truth: Running a business demands more than just hard work. It demands a mindset that helps you step up, take control, and move forward with clarity and vision. Here’s what a shift to a CEO mindset can bring to your business results: Clearer Goals – With a CEO mindset, you stop drifting and start setting clear, realistic goals that push your business forward. Strategic Decision-Making – With the right mindset, you can think beyond the daily demands, making decisions that help your business grow, not just survive Focused Time Management – Being the CEO means being intentional with your time. You can achieve more by focusing on what truly matters and ignoring the distractions. Increased Confidence – When you know you're in control and have a clear direction, it's easier to take action, take risks, and get better results. 💼 Three Ways to Use Time in Business: Are You Wasting, Spending, or Investing It? Time is the only resource we can’t get more of—and it’s crucial in business. So, where is your time going right now? 🤔 There are three things you can do with time: 1️⃣ Waste it 2️⃣ Spend it 3️⃣ Invest it On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your time management? I learned a new framework last week called the Dyslexic SWOT Analysis of Time to help you review your efforts. (Courtesy of Neil Martin) Here’s how it breaks down: Strategic Time 🏆 – Time that moves the needle, aligns with the vision, and drives growth. Tactical Time 🗂️ – Planning and managing the operations. Operational Time 🔧 – Day-to-day tasks that keep the wheels turning. Wasted Time 🕳️ – Distractions and low-value tasks that don’t add to your goals. 👉 Step 1: Cut the wasted time. Delegate, outsource, automate. 👉 Step 2: Reduce operational tasks so you’re not stuck in the day-to-day. 👉 Step 3: Implement systems to handle the tactical plans—empower your team to run the operations. 👉 Step 4: Focus on strategic growth. Invest your time in the future you want for your business. Here’s a key question: Are you the bottleneck in your business? Are you the single point of failure? The goal for any business owner should be to build commercial profitable enterprises that can scale and work for you, not the other way around. Let’s start by investing our time in what truly matters. #TimeManagement #BusinessGrowth #Leadership #Scalability #EntrepreneurMindset #BusinessCoach #SmallBusiness

I had so many business cases turned down, until I learned this simple trick. When I looked through by boss's eyes, everything became clear. It wasn't about my ideas; it was how I presented them. The main uncertainty in their head is: will it work? So the key to getting it approved is removing this uncertainty. Luckily, your business idea is not original. I can guarantee that. Someone somewhere has done something similar, and it worked. If you can't think of something, think harder. This is your secret weapon. Tell that story. If your boss sees that it worked for someone else, then they can see it working for your business too. Use real-world examples to prove it. Find a company, team, or person with similar circumstances. Explain what they did and how it succeeded. Highlight the benefits they achieved. Keep it concise, clear, and compelling. Your boss wants to reduce risk, so make it feel safe. When you show success elsewhere, approval follows. Here’s a simple framework to follow: 1/ State the problem: Clearly define the issue your idea solves. One sentence only. 2/ Success story: Share how someone else solved it and the success it brought. 3/ What if we did something similar...: 4/ Your idea: Introduce your solution. 5/ Outcome: Echo the same positive outcome you mentioned in your story happening for you. 6/ Call to action: Let's make it happen: Confidently ask for approval. When you show them a story that’s already worked elsewhere, it removes the risk from their minds. I've never had a business case turned down when I've used this formula. ♻️ Like this? Business management: the art of orchestrating chaos with elegance—or at least pretending we know what we're doing while drinking copious amounts of coffee. Let’s be real, it’s a high-wire act with no safety net and a strong headwind called The Market. Sure, everyone’s got an opinion, but here’s a reality check: most of us are winging it with style. 1. **Adapt or Fade Away** – Change isn't the enemy, stagnation is. Channel your inner chameleon and blend into the ever-evolving business jungle or risk being outdated fashion. 2. **Question Everything** – Policies, strategies, your boss’s tie choice. Critical thinking is your Excalibur; use it wisely or get stuck in the mud of mediocrity. 3. **Embrace Humanity** – Machines can predict trends, but they can't lead like humans. Authenticity and empathy: your ultimate superpowers. 4. **Swing for the Fences** – Dare to dream ambitiously. Because if you’re not living on the edge, you're just taking up space in the center. Above all, remember: business isn’t just management—it’s a quest, a dance, an existential trip if you’re up for the journey. Dive in, the chaos is inviting. https://lnkd.in/emdgfXDV #BusinessManagement #Leadership #AdaptOrFade #EntrepreneurMindset

1moAhh the survival stage. I think every business leader knows this one and work really hard not to be there for too long! One of the challenges is that if we get the later stages wrong or if the market changes too quickly and we’ve not been able to adapt, we may find ourselves back here again. Get back on track by streamlining expenses and find and focus on the one thing that works well.
