This October, the Fund achieved a 0.21% gain, primarily driven by our strategic digital asset allocation. Key Highlights: 🔹 Digital Assets: With a 12% allocation in the 3CC Global Crypto Fund, our early investment in #digital assets has paid off, as the sector surged, led by #Bitcoin reaching $73,500. Strong institutional inflows, evolving monetary policies, and a dynamic U.S. political landscape have been major growth drivers. 🔹 Fixed Income: We initiated positions in Novo Banco and Caixa Geral de Depósitos bonds, representing 60% of the portfolio, aligning with our strategy to maintain capital stability and aim for steady returns. This allocation will increase to 65% shortly. 🔹 Equities: We selected the Amundi S&P 500 UCITS ETF – EUR (C) for U.S. equities market exposure, offering efficient access to the top 500 U.S. companies. 🌎 Economic Outlook: Eurozone: Facing economic challenges, the #ECB cut rates, although it remains optimistic about long-term recovery prospects. United States: Resilient indicators, with low unemployment and rising consumer confidence, suggest the economy is navigating inflationary pressures, with an eye on potential rate cuts. The existing information sheet was published in 2017 and is now largely outdated following several years of rapid progress in the crypto industry. 🏗️ Institutional investors charge into Australia property market Despite falling flows across the Asia Pacific region, institutional investor allocations to Australia's real estate market have increased by $1.16 billion in Q2 year-on-year, to $6 billion. 🏗️ Australia approves US$50 mil investment into Singapore’s Fast-P blended finance initiative At COP29, the Singapore government pledged up to US$500 million as concessional capital, to match dollar-for-dollar concessional capital from other partners. The Australian government has approved a US$50 million ($67.24 million) investment into the Green Investments Partnership (GIP) under Singapore’s Financing Asia’s Transition Partnership (Fast-P) initiative, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced on Dec 3. The Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria, is pushing to license digital asset providers. Quidax and Busha got the green light to operate under the Accelerated Regulatory Incubation Program (ARIP). Four more firms are set to test under the Regulatory Incubation (RI) Program. This could boost crypto market participation and combat illicit funds. However, experts argue for robust operator standards similar to the equity market's certified brokers.
