I believe this is one of most disruptive shifts in strategic thinking for the sports industry: That we are in a 'Permissionless Era'. Culture changes, media types evolve, It's been the same in the past and always will be. BUT what is unique in this era is the tools fans, athletes & creators have to play with. Creation, consumption and distribution of content, products, culture, community you name it, is now a Permissionless exercise.
