Premier League Chelsea FC VS ARSENAL FC Chelsea's Goal: - Arsenal's farthest and nearest defenders pinned from opposition players presence in last line. - Having one of the farthest defenders react to intervene neto's shot was not the best idea due to the travel distance it would take for timber to intercept - Prior to neto's proximity near finishing zone with time and space, allowing such space to a player capable of superb mid range shooting is not good enough from one of the out of possession team's in world football when it comes to applying compactness and avoiding such gaps to exploit. could the goal be avoidable? yes, however, we have to take in mind the moment of the sequence which comes from a rupture movement from neto and recognition of space from enzo + speed of the sequence. High pressing: -Chelsea was great to a certain extent, where Palmer as a pressing starter + jackson and caicedo in roles of avoiding ''play through' from arsenal's double 6's were consistent. - Another thing to keep in mind is chelsea's behavior. Despite of arsenal breaking free from chelsea's press in left channel after a 3v2 numerical advantage, a bad distributed pass allowed Madueke to intercept and recognize the pressing trigger. as a result, a threatening transitional offensive play with multiple forward options. - Chelsea's best high pressing sequences occurred at right channel as outside of anticipations, numerical matching forced Raya (GK) to play direct due to lack of nearest options. Arsenal's pressing rupture sequence: - In moments where arsenal was in numerical equality with chelsea, one solution was for Odegaard (RCM) in a open play structure of 1-4-3-3 to drop wide - Odegaard moving wide allowed b.white (possessor) to have width + " Circulation Support" with best possible receiver, which caused a 4v3 numerical advantage sequence for Arsenal - Automatism in 2v1 sequence from Partey (CDM) as he moves in blind spot from uneven marker + dynamics in wide right space between Saka (RW) + Ben White (RFB) doing an overlap, allowed a 'positional dynamic rupture' to progress fluidly into attacking third. #ARSENAL #CHELSEA #PREMIERLEAGUE #SOCCERCOACH #SOCCERANALYSIS #FUTBOLTACTICO #FUTBOLANALISIS #FOOTBALLCOACH

🇬🇧 Two months into The Premier League season, we’re starting to have an idea of how things will look at the top (and at the bottom!)! Here are four more matches and eight teams that we’ll follow live together this weekend on bet365 and Spotlight Sports Group: - Saturday - 3 PM (UK): Manchester City Football Club - Fulham Football Club The one and only time Fulham lost a game this season was in Manchester, against the Red Devils. This time, they’ll face a Manchester City team that drew twice and isn’t sitting at the top of the table anymore. Will the Marco Silva-led Cottagers extend their unbeaten streak to six matches against the Citizens? - Saturday - 5.30 PM (UK): Everton Football Club - Newcastle United Football Club After a dreadful start to the season, the Toffees finally won their first game against Crystal Palace (2-1) last week. Can Sean Dyche’s team make it two in a row against a Newcastle squad that is aiming for Europe? - Sunday - 2 PM (UK) : Aston Villa Football Club - Manchester United Erik ten Hag is once again under pressure as Manchester United hasn’t scored in a Premier League match since September 14th. The Dutch manager has his team in the bottom half of the table before the Red Devils travel to Villa Park. Will they threaten an Aston Villa team that hasn’t lost in September? - Sunday - 4.30 PM (UK): Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club - Tottenham Hotspur Football Club The Seagulls lost for the first time this year in a spectacular way against Chelsea (2-4) last Saturday. Meanwhile, Tottenham has won its last four games, including Carabao Cup and Europa League fixtures (before Thursday’s match against Ferencváros). Can Brighton bounce back against a Spurs team that’s on a roll? #Football #Soccer #Sports #Sport #Live #Direct #Commentaire #Commentaires #Commentateur #Journalisme #Journaliste #Commentaries #Commentator #Journalist #Journalism #France #UK #Français #Anglais #PL #PremierLeague

⚽️ Why Alessia Russo is Arsenal’s Most Crucial Player Right Now. When it comes to world-class talent, few players shine brighter than Alessia Russo. In my latest Substack piece, I dive into why she’s not just Arsenal’s prolific goalscorer but also one of the best strikers in world football today. Her remarkable form this season has been nothing short of game-changing. Whether it’s her clinical finishing, intelligent movement, or ability to step up in key moments, Russo has become the player Arsenal can rely on when it matters most. But it’s not just about goals—it’s about impact. Her presence on the pitch elevates the entire team, and her performances continue to show why she’s such a vital part of Arsenal’s success. If you’re as passionate about the women’s game as I am, I’d love for you to check it out, share your thoughts, and join the conversation. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eqgSDSap

Just like that, the summer break is over. The Premier League is back in action, and the first matches already played out. Even before a ball had been kicked, it was shaping up to be an exciting season, with a lot of new and exciting opportunities. ⚽️ Will Manchester City Football Club make it five-in-a-row? ⚽️ How will Arne Slot’s debut season at the helm of Liverpool Football Club work out? ⚽️ Can Tottenham Hotspur Football Club win some silverware? ⚽️ How will Ipswich Town FC get on in the first Premier League season since 2001/02? ⚽️ Can Chelsea Football Club fight back to the sharp end of the league? ⚽️ Will Arsenal F.C be title contenders once again? The Hollow Crown. Ruben Amorim, Manchester United's new, much-lauded and hitherto losing coach goes into Monday's home game against a revived and free-scoring Newcastle United knowing that he may become the most short-lived Red Devil's manager since Walter Crickmer’s 43-game reign in 1931-32. Amorim is the 10th person to have led United since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013. All--even the cup-winning José Mourinho, Louis van Gaal and Eric ten Hag--have been branded ManU "failures" by the media and exacting standards of supporters. And yet, across all spheres, how often has good king, followed good king? Mediocrity, at best, and decline invariably follows the rule of a strong, successful leader. Look, for example, at United after the departure of Sir Matt Busby: Again a succession of lesser managers; struggling to replicate days of glory, with the odd second-tier cup win thrown in as a sop, and a string of false dawns. Yet this time around, I'd argue that Manchester United's relative decline has been precipitated by the club's owners. And not by poor coaching. For as long as the Glazer family own the club, Manchester United will never regain its top position in the EPL and fulfil its destiny of winning with style and glory. The Glazers have hollowed-out--if not looted--one of the greatest sporting teams in the world and handed Ruben Amorim--and the nine men before him--not just a hollow crown but it would seem a crown of thorns. https://lnkd.in/d5G_Ny28

First Trophy in the new era at Man Utd The premier league match between Man Utd and Arsenal was played at Old Trafford stadium at Manchester on Sunday, 12th May. The Women’s FA Cup final was played between Man Utd Women and Tottenham Women at Wembley on the same day just two hours before the men’s match. Busy day for Man Utd. The Man Utd Women’s team won the final by 4 goals and lifted their first ever trophy. Ella Toone & Rachel Williams starred for Man Utd. Marc Skinner (Manager) guided his team to this historic feat. Congratulations to the Man Utd Women’s team!!! ❤️ The attendance for the Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley, London was a whopping 76,082. Despite of being aware that their own Women’s team had qualified for the final, none of the Man Utd top management were present for the game. They could have been there for encouraging the Man Utd Women’s Team and the Women’s Game. Instead, they were at the men’s game where the team has been languishing in 8th place and playing dreadful football. Though the football business is dominated by men and the ecosystem that surrounds the men’s game, Women’s football is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Yet the priority given to Women’s football is non-existent. The attitude from the top needs to change for Women’s football to flourish. Could the club top management have attended the Women’s FA Cup final or split the responsibility to attend both the matches? Does this also mean that they will not be present for the Men’s FA Cup final between Man Utd & Man City? #womensfacup #football @manutdwomen The Premier League Manchester United @ellatoone99
