We will be present again this year at the TIS ROMA 2024 international conference to be held in Rome on September 19 and 20, 2024, organized by AIIT_Italia. I will be chairperson of the session “Mobility as a Service, AI and big data for transport models and planning.” We will also present three important works that are contributions to research on mobility and transportation issues: 1) “Can tramways be used for freight transport in urban areas? A case study in the city of Milan in Italy” with Beatrice Bianchini, Andrea Strada and Michela Le Pira 2) “How to measure the impact of electronic ticketing systems in local public transport? An Italian case study” with Isabel Santoro, @Elena Ratto and Stefano Rossi 3) “How to promote and implement Mobility as a Service? See you at TIS ROMA 2024 International Conference in Rome on September 20th 2024, organized by AIIT_Italia 🗓 Together with Fabio Borghetti, Laura Ferretto and Benedetto Barabino we will present our work: “How to promote and implement Mobility as a Service? An Italian survey to learn about the propensity of users”. With this work, starting from the research I've been conducting for my Master's thesis, we have been deepening some specific topics gaining some more hints and a clearer picture to understand the Italian context of Mobility as a Service. In the last years, MaaS has been a heavily discussed term, but the trasnsport sector still lacks of a satisfactory offer in terms of scale and quality. A lot of work remains to be done, both on the regulatory and technological side. At the same time, we shall not forget the effort needed in terms of finding adaptable and scalable business models. This Committee is made up of sectoral associations and clusters that represent the entire value chain within the maritime industry. 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐌𝐌 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠 🌍 On September 3rd, Bram and Adil from ILS attended the SMM Hamburg fair, the 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲. With over 2,000 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors, it was the perfect opportunity to discover the latest developments and innovations in our sector. The fair was definitely useful and interesting! Why? 🤔 They met numerous industry experts and further strengthened existing business relationships, enabling us to 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬.
