Immigration Stories : USA The US has for many years been host to the largest number of immigrants. There nearly 48 million immigrants currently living in the USA. About a quarter (11 million) of the immigrants in the USA are undocumented (otherwise known as illegal (im)migrants). It has more immigrants than any other country in the world. Currently, the US is home to a quarter (25%) of all international students globally. And these immigrants come from all nearly every country across the world. What does that tell us? Tolerance? Is that what makes America great or? Should that justify the Americans and Mr Trump's plan for stronger American border controls?
