Creating a cohesive and harmonious color palette for your home is essential for achieving a balanced and aesthetically pleasing interior design. Here are three tips from ZAS experts to help you select the perfect color scheme: 1. Understand Color Theory Primary Colors: Red, blue, and yellow are the primary colors from which all other colors are derived. Secondary Colors: Green, orange, and purple are created by mixing primary colors. Tertiary Colors: These are combinations of primary and secondary colors (e.g., blue-green, red orange). 2. Consider the 60-30-10 Rule In the living room, you might use a soft gray (60%) for the walls, a deep navy blue (30%) for the sofa and curtains, and a vibrant yellow (10%) for cushions and artwork. 3. Create Flow with a Whole-House Color Palette If you choose a neutral base color like beige for most rooms, you might use a deeper shade of beige or taupe in one room, a lighter shade in another, and pops of a consistent accent color like teal or coral throughout the home. 🌸 Why Lace Curtains Add Timeless Elegance to Any Space 🌸 Lace curtains are a beautiful way to introduce elegance and charm into any room. Here’s why they remain a classic choice in interior design: 🌿 1. Soft, Diffused Light Lace curtains allow natural light to filter through softly, creating a bright yet calming atmosphere. This makes them perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, or any space where you want gentle, ambient lighting without harsh sunlight. 🌿 2. Timeless Elegance With intricate patterns and delicate textures, lace curtains add a touch of vintage charm to both traditional and modern interiors. They bring an air of refinement that’s hard to match with heavier fabrics. 🌿 3. Privacy with Style While they allow light in, lace curtains still offer a level of privacy, making them ideal for areas where you want to maintain a sense of openness without feeling exposed. 🌿 4. Versatility in Design Lace curtains come in a wide range of patterns, colors, and lengths, allowing them to fit any design style—whether you prefer a rustic, cottage feel or a more luxurious, sophisticated look. 🔑 Pro Tip: Pair lace curtains with heavier drapes for a layered window treatment that gives you the flexibility to control both privacy and light levels. #InteriorDesign #LaceCurtains #TimelessDecor #ElegantSpaces #HomeDecor #a91Concepts #ClassicDesign

Quiet luxury: The interior design trend of 2024? I recently came across an article about the interior design trends for 2024. It seems that this year, interior design is closely following fashion trends, with the concept of quiet luxury becoming increasingly popular. This trend was inspired by the TV show "Succession." I have to agree - the luxury depicted there is both opulent and understated. Simply beautiful 😍 Quiet luxury in interior design primarily focuses on quality, functionality, and aesthetics. Instead of garish decorations and mass production, there is a preference for artisanal items, natural materials, and timeless furnishings and decor. Dark wood, such as American walnut, is becoming popular. Additionally, wood is a durable material, which fans of quiet luxury appreciate because they prefer items that do not need to be replaced every year. In my opinion, interior trends are moving in a very good and elegant direction. I'm curious to hear what you think about this trend 🤔 #InteriorDesignTrends #InteriorDesign #OWNStudio #HomeDecor #HomeDesign
